§ 1 Information on the processing of personal data
1) We provide you with our mobile app, which you can download to your mobile device.
Below, we provide information about the processing of personal data when using our mobile app.
Personal data is any information that can be linked to you personally, such as your name, address, email address, or user behavior.
This is intended to inform you about how we process your personal data and to fulfill our legal obligations, particularly those arising from the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3) When you contact us by email or via a contact form, we store the information you provide (your email address, and, where applicable, your name and telephone number) in order to respond to your inquiries.
We delete the data collected in this context, if the inquiry is associated with a contract, in accordance with the applicable contractual retention periods.
Otherwise, we delete the data collected once its storage is no longer necessary, and at the latest three years after the data was generated, at the end of the general statutory limitation period, or restrict its processing if statutory retention obligations apply.
4) If we use external service providers for individual functions of our services or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will carefully select and monitor these service providers and provide you with detailed information about the respective processing activities below.
We also specify the criteria used to determine the retention period. If our service providers or partners are based in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you about the implications in the description of the relevant service.
§ 2 Your Rights
(1) You have the following rights with regard to your personal data vis-à-vis the data controller:
– Right of access.
– Right to rectification or erasure.
– Right to restriction of processing.
– Right to object to processing.
– Right to data portability.
– Right to object to advertising and withdraw consent.
(2) You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.
§ 3 Processing of Personal Data When Using Our Mobile App
1) When downloading the mobile app, the necessary information is transmitted to the App Store, including your username, email address, customer number associated with your account, download date and time, payment information, and unique device identifier.
In addition, the App Store independently collects various types of data and provides you with analytical results.
We have no influence over this data processing and are not responsible for it.
We process the data only to the extent necessary to download the mobile app to your mobile device.
You can also download this mobile app free of charge directly to your mobile device via our website.

2) When you use the mobile app, we process the personal data described below to enable convenient use of its features.
If you wish to use our mobile app, we process the following data that is technically necessary for us to provide the app’s features and ensure its stability and security. Therefore, we are required to process this data.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR:
– IP-Adresse
– Date and time of the request.
– Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
– Content of the request (page visited).
– Access status/HTTP status code.
– Amount of data transmitted in each case.
– Previously visited page.
– Browser
– Operating system.
– Language and version of the browser software.
(3) Furthermore, to provide the app’s services, we require your device identifier, unique device number (IMEI = International Mobile Equipment Identity), unique subscriber number (IMSI = International Mobile Subscriber Identity), mobile phone number (MSISDN), MAC address for Wi-Fi use, name of your mobile device, and email address.
§ 4 Processing of Data from Your Devices (the “Cookie Policy”)
1) In addition to the data mentioned above, technical tools are used when you use our mobile app for various functions, which may be stored on your device.
The technical tools used are primarily cookies, but may also include other technologies such as Advertising ID or authentication caches.
When you access our mobile app, and at any time thereafter, you can choose whether to generally allow the use of individual or all optional additional features.
You can make changes in the settings of the mobile app or through our Consent Manager.

3) Essential Technical Features Required for the Mobile App: The technical structure of the mobile app requires us to use certain technologies, particularly cookies.
Without these technologies, our mobile app may not be displayed correctly or in full, and certain support functions may not be available.
These are generally transient cookies, which are deleted once you have finished using the app.
You cannot opt out of these cookies if you wish to use our app. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1) GDPR.

4) Optional Features: We only use various cookies or other technologies with your consent, which you can provide through the Consent Manager.
These features are only activated with your consent and may be used, in particular, to analyze and improve visits to our mobile app, make it easier for you to use the app across different browsers or devices, recognize you when you return, or display advertising, including interest-based advertising, measure ad effectiveness, or provide personalized ads.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5) On iOS, you have various options to largely restrict advertising and tracking. Tracking is generally carried out via the so-called “Advertising Identifier” (IDFA).
“Advertising Identifier” (IDFA). This is a unique, non-personalized, and non-permanent identification number for a specific device, provided by iOS.
The data collected through the IDFA is not linked to other device-related information.
We use the IDFA to provide you with personalized advertising and to analyze your usage.
If you open “Privacy & Security” in your iOS settings, you can go to “Tracking” to largely disable advertising-related tracking.
If you enable the “Allow Apps to Request to Track” feature, our app will ask you the first time you use it whether you consent to advertising activities, allowing you to enable or disable personalized advertising.
Additionally, under “Privacy & Security,” you can select “Apple Advertising” and disable “Personalized Ads.”
Under the “Analytics & Improvements” option, you can also disable “Share iPhone Analytics” and “Improve Siri & Dictation.” This prevents statistical information about your use of iOS from being transmitted to Apple.
§ 5 Objection to or Withdrawal of Consent to the Processing of Your Data
1) If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
Such withdrawal affects the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data from the time you communicate your withdrawal to us.
The lawfulness of the processing of your data up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.
2) Where we process your personal data on the basis of a balancing of interests, you have the right to object to such processing.
This applies in particular when the processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, as described by us in each case in the following sections outlining the relevant features.
When exercising such an objection, please provide the reasons why you believe we should not process your personal data in the manner described above.

1. Use of Your Address Book, Photos, or Other Data
1) When you first use our mobile app, we will ask for your permission via a pop-up to access your contacts, calendar, reminders, photos, or other specified data.
If you do not grant permission, we will not use this data.
In this case, you may not be able to use all of the features of our mobile app.
You can grant or revoke this permission at any time later in the settings of the mobile app or your operating system.
(2) If you grant access to the aforementioned data, the mobile app will only access your data and transmit it to our servers to the extent necessary to provide the relevant functionality.
We treat your data confidentially and delete it when you withdraw your right to use the services or when the data is no longer required to provide the services, provided that no statutory retention obligations apply.

2. Collection of Your Location Data
1) Our services include so-called Location-Based Services, which allow us to provide you with special offers tailored to your current location.
You can only use these features after consenting via a pop-up to the collection of your location data via GPS and your IP address in anonymized form for the purpose of providing the service.
You can enable or revoke this permission at any time in the settings of the mobile app or your operating system by going to “Settings.”
Your location is only transmitted to us when you use features of the mobile app that we can only provide with knowledge of your location.
(2) For the purpose of analyzing usage, tailoring our services to your needs, and identifying errors, we create usage profiles if you consent to this when using the mobile app.
These data are not combined with other personal data. The legal basis for processing the data you request through your use of the app’s features is Art.
Art. 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
